Solar panels at Spinnerij Oosterveld

Did you know there are 650 solar panels on the roof of Spinnerij Oosterveld? The sunlight can be converted into electricity by these solar cells. This form of electricity generation is called Photo-Voltaic solar energy, or PV in short. The generated energy can be used immediately and any surplus is returned to the electricity network.

PV is a form of sustainable energy, using an almost infinite source of energy, the sun. In the production of electricity, no use is made of fossil fuels and thus a contribution is made to the reduction of the greenhouse effect.

The solar panels on our roof have been supplying energy for some years now, which can be converted into electricity for our tenants and for the building. A valuable and fitting addition to the Spinnerij!
